Nat Waring, Waring Woodworking
Specializing in organic natural form furniture for the home and business, including but not limited to: built-in cabinets of all sorts, bureaus, beds, mantle pieces, entertainment centers, bookshelves, tables plus any objects of the imagination. I have built 110 custom kitchens to date. In addition to cabinet-making, I am a certified Corian fabricator with 22 years of expertise.

I started cabinet-making as a profession in 1973 and it has been my passion ever since. For the next 39 years I perfected and expanded my cabinet/furniture making skills. Then in 2005 I was inspired by a customer who said she wanted a kitchen created out of wood that had suffered disease and hard times and was more beautiful and had more character because of it.

Since that time I have been traveling southern Vermont in search of logs with lots of character. I then have these logs sawn to my specification, sometimes using an Alaskan chainsaw mill that has the capacity of cutting 52-inch wide boards.

With 39 years of experience with wood and a life-long love for it, I try to bring out the beauty of each board and limb that I use. I have customers all over and my pieces (even whole kitchens) have gone to such places as Puerto Rico, Colorado, Martha's Vineyard, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. in addition to local homes and businesses.
